Welcome to MyMemoryBox! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern how you use our website, application, and related services (“Service”). By using MyMemoryBox, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who Can Use MyMemoryBox

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in some countries) to use MyMemoryBox. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you’re using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you must have the authority to agree on its behalf.

Your Account and Content

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Please keep your password safe and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

The files, notes, and content you upload are yours. You retain ownership and full control. We don’t use your data for training models or any other purpose beyond running the service — such as storing your data, helping you find it, or processing it with AI when you ask us to.

By using MyMemoryBox, you allow us to store, index, and (when you activate relevant features) process your content using trusted services like OpenAI. Details are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

We expect you to use MyMemoryBox legally and respectfully. Please don’t upload anything that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful. Don’t try to disrupt the service, break into other people’s accounts, or misuse the system.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these expectations.

Paid Plans and Subscriptions

Some features of MyMemoryBox may only be available through a paid subscription. When you subscribe, you agree to pay the applicable fees and any associated taxes. Payments are handled through third-party payment providers, and by subscribing, you agree to their terms as well.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your access to paid features will continue until the end of your billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for unused time, unless required by local law.

We may change pricing or subscription features from time to time. If we do, we’ll notify you in advance so you can decide whether to continue.

AI and Third-Party Services

Some features use third-party AI services, including OpenAI, to process your content (for example, to summarize a document or improve search). When this happens, your data is sent securely and temporarily to the service, used only for the requested action, and never stored for training. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

We also rely on infrastructure providers (such as Supabase) to run the platform. While we work with trustworthy vendors, we aren’t responsible for outages or issues on their end.

Changes to the Service

We’re always working to improve MyMemoryBox. That means we may change, update, or remove features at any time. Some new features might only be available as part of paid plans. If we make significant changes, we’ll do our best to let you know in advance.

Termination

You can stop using MyMemoryBox at any time. You can also delete your account and all your data from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or abuse the system.

No Warranties

We offer MyMemoryBox “as is.” While we aim for reliability and security, we can’t guarantee perfect performance or uptime. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months, if any.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction — e.g., Brazil or the United Kingdom], even if you’re using the Service from elsewhere.
